1

Submit the application

Apply through GEPCO's online new-connection route or at your local GEPCO sub-division office, choosing your category (residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural).

2

Site survey & estimate

GEPCO staff survey the premises and prepare the estimate / demand notice based on distance from the nearest pole and sanctioned load.

3

Pay the demand notice

Pay the demand notice in the designated bank. Keep the stamped copy — work starts against it.

4

Meter installation

After payment and any required wiring/test report, GEPCO installs the meter and issues your reference number — the same 14-digit number you will use in the checker on this site.

Solar net metering

Export rooftop solar to the grid and offset your bill. Apply for a net-metering agreement and a bi-directional meter through your GEPCO sub-division office. Once approved, the units you export reduce the units you are billed for, which can cut your monthly bill significantly.
